About This Hunt

Hunt Country The country lies in North Yorkshire, Durham and Cleveland, and is mainly grass and arable with some plough. Obstacles are plentiful and varied, and are mainly timber and hedges, with some hunt jumps.

Hunt History The Hunt dates from the 18th century; the first authenticated record of the pack occurs in 1803. Originally founded by the three brothers Wilkinson, of Neasham Abbey, on the Duke Cleveland giving up his hounds in 1861, Thomas R. Wilkinson, a son of one of the brothers, agreed to take over a portion of the Raby territory.

Secretary: Miss C. Pattison
